In the twilight of his life, Ned reflects on his past, his remaining years, and discovers how his role in life has changed.

Against the Wind is a sentimental film that shows the old truly are young at heart and that universal emotions live within us all.

Against the Wind is an Official Selection of The Spiritual Cinema Circle and will be released as part of a future volume in their film series.

Emotions are felt regardless of age... you never truly stop feeling. This film is about universal and timeless emotions that dwell in each of us. Age may hinder the body, but not the heart. Your ability to express love remains, and as you become older you realize the importance of legacy.

It is the lives that you touch that define your life and legacy. Chinese philosopher Lao-Tzu wrote, “By the accident of fortune, a man may rule the world for a time, but by virtue of love and kindness he may rule the world forever.” The importance of a person who shares their love with family and friends becomes generational. This kind of quiet legacy passes on through those who remain and is, in turn, passed on by those who receive it, though they may not know its origin.
